With sleeping accommodation for nine across two levels, The Old Post Office offers versatile accommodation for large groups and family holidays. Below you will find an overview of the accommodation and sleeping layouts at our holiday cottage in North Yorkshire.
Features en-suite with shower and heated towel rail. The exposed sandstone is part of the original structure of the Old Post Office building. The main bedroom is located centrally with easy access to the main bathroom and also adjacent bedrooms to keep an eye on the little ones.
Features king sized bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, en-suite with shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
Second Double Bedroom
With a Velux window giving views across the moorland and on the same level as the main bedroom, this room also features a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. En-suite including shower cubicle with electric shower, washbasin, and toilet.
A single bed for the one who likes their own space. Close to the main bathroom and with a window overlooking the village, comprises a single bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
With the same view out to the village as the single room, the twin room works well for those best pals who like to play together with two single beds on opposing walls, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Again, with easy access to the main bathroom.
Located centrally on the first floor, the family bathroom consists of a traditional bath, electric shower over the bath, washbasin, large heated towel rail and toilet.
For the adventurous ones, on the top level of The Old Post Office, this room features two single beds, Velux windows with views towards Chimney Bank and the moorland and retains the period oak beams. Bathroom access is one floor down.
Please note, like many Yorkshire Holiday Cottages and due to the period nature of the building, The Old Post Office is not suitable for people with significantly reduced mobility.
